Negoro Temple is hidden in the hills of Goshiki Dai, which is just west of Takamatsu. The great thing about it is the fact that it is not a tourist attraction. It's secluded, quiet, and uncrowded. In fact, you would have to go there on a special day to see more than just a handful of people.
Being "off the beaten path," you need to come by car; or bicycle if you feel athletic. If you're looking for a taste of the ancient Orient, this is the place to go.
