Contact Information

Thank you for visiting my site. I am glad to know that my work is helping others. Please feel free to e-mail me concerning any of the information found here. I welcome comments or questions, but please first read the following:

Subject Line

Please write a brief description in the e-mail subject line. Something clear and concise, like Question About Japanese Verbs is good and can be spotted easily. This will help keep your message from being tagged as spam.

Japanese Language Inquiries

If you are asking about the language, please keep your questions clear and specific. Short, clear questions will usually be answered sooner than lengthy, complex ones. Also, if you send a Japanese sentence for comment or translation, please send it in context, with enough text leading up to it or background information to show the overall setting in which it is used.

Suzumushi Crickets

I have received many inquiries about how to get suzumushi crickets. I'm very sorry, but I cannot help you there unless you live in Japan. The U.S.A. and other countries are pretty strict about controlling what live animals and insects they let in. Besides that, suzumushi are very delicate even here in their native Japan, breeding and living for only a short time within the right balance of seasonal heat and humidity. I would imagine that trying to raise or keep them elsewhere would be very difficult. Nevertheless, if you have an exotic pet or insect supplier in your area, you could try asking them. I have no idea how to get them outside of Japan.
