Quick Temperature Conversion Guide
What I did to simplify this is memorize two things: freezing is 0° C or 32° F, and there are 18° F for every 10° C. Figuring nice round temperatures became easy: 10° C, 20° C, and 30° C are 50° F, 68° F, and 86° F, respectively. Figuring not-so-round ones simply means adding or subtracting 1.8° F for every 1° C. With practice and experience it becomes second nature. Then you can look forward to the day when you won't even need to convert to °F anymore. You'll know that a predicted 22° C high for the following day means it'll be great. |
